NO TRYOUTS! –Peninsula Youth Football and Cheer does not have tryouts or cutting of rosters. That’s right.  Sign up to play and get to play.

Play Locally with Who you Know:  That’s right. Players get to play with friends and neighbors from their local community.

Are You Ready for some Football?  Peninsula Youth Football and Cheer offers a jam packed game schedule that includes a variety of competitive cities and community locations all within 60 minutes of Peninsula Youth Football and Cheers territory.

Affiliation with the American Youth Football Association.  Peninsula Youth Football and Cheer is affiliated with the Pacific Coast Conference which has approximately 14 cities all local to our program  What does that mean to you?  Lots of games, lots of teams and convenient to get too.  More playing time, less driving time!  To view a list of these locations, please go the www.pcc.com.

More than just great athletes! – Peninsula Youth Football and Cheer supports great athletes and good students.  We require participants to perform adequately in the classroom and within the community.  We believe that these standards give children a sense of responsibility and an appreciation for academics, community service and athletics that will help them develop later on in life.

National Championships – Each year, teams will earn the opportunity to play in the Nationals held in Orlando Florida in early December.  This is an exciting event and one that players remember for a lifetime.  Further opening up the doors to all teams to experience this lifetime opportunity is the Division 2 Nationals in which any team may sign up and come play for the chance to earn the Division 2 Championship title, regardless of their in-season record.

Season End Celebration – Peninsula Youth Football and Cheer hosts a season end celebration in which all participants and families have an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of our participants recognize and appreciate our volunteers and enjoy memorable moments as the season comes to an end..

Mandatory Play Requirements – Everyone participates under mandatory rules of play.  

Age-Weight Structure – Players compete with and against players of similar age and size. We set and enforce a strict AGE & WEIGHT MATRIX that reduces the risk and reality of injuries.

Volunteers & Coaches – Our local coaching staff, volunteers and supporting families are qualified committed individuals hand selected based upon a criteria that includes their prior experience, skill level, interest level, availability, commitment and desire.  Many of our coaching staff have years of prior coaching experience within youth football and in some cases in college and higher level. Each coach and volunteer must meet a rigorous criteria to ensure our players safety, well-being and program integrity. All personnel who are given field and practice access must complete background checks including board members, coaches, hired workers etc.

Football & Cheerleading Camps –Peninsula Football and Cheer offers several local  FOOTBALL CAMPS and CHEERLEADING CAMPS for our members at low costs.

Safety, Safety, Safety! – Kids compete with kids of similar age and size. The PCC requires adherence to a strict AGE & WEIGHT MATRIX that reduces the risk and reality of injuries.

PCC Rules and Regulations – Each League and Association that is an affiliate of the PCC receives and must comply with PCC Rules and Regulations and complete the preseason PCC training program for all team staff.

Coaches and Adult Codes – All coaches, football and spirit participants must abide by a Code of Conduct which includes several provisions. If any of these rules are broken, the League shall have the authority to impose a penalty. In addition, all our coaches are live scanned (fingerprinted) in order to participate as volunteers.
